The first full trailer and official poster for “The Conjuring: Last Rites” were released on 31 July, offering the most detailed preview yet of the fourth and final film in the core Conjuring horror series. Promotional materials describe the story as the case that ultimately ends the paranormal investigations of Ed and Lorraine Warren. Directed by Michael Chaves, the movie reunites Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson as the Warrens and introduces Mia Tomlinson as their now-adult daughter Judy, alongside Ben Hardy and returning cast member Steve Coulter. According to the newly issued synopsis, the plot pits the Warrens against a demon that has targeted them before, while expanding the franchise’s haunted-object lore. “The Conjuring: Last Rites” is scheduled to open in U.S. theaters on 5 September 2025, capping a franchise that began in 2013 and has since spawned spin-offs including “Annabelle” and “The Nun.”
