A trio of established rock acts—AFI, Thrice and Between the Buried and Me—unveiled separate U.S. tour plans for autumn 2025 on Tuesday, adding fresh momentum to the next year’s concert calendar. AFI said it will embark on its first headlining run in three years, beginning 30 September in Madison, Wisconsin, and concluding 5 November in San Diego. Electronic artist TR/ST will appear on most dates. A Live Nation presale opens 26 June, with general tickets available through Ticketmaster on 27 June at 10 a.m. Eastern. The outing follows AFI’s 2021 album “Bodies,” and the band has signaled it hopes to release new music in 2025. Post-hardcore veterans Thrice detailed a coast-to-coast itinerary that starts 17 October at San Diego’s Observatory North Park and wraps 23 November at the House of Blues in Anaheim. Modern Color and Downward will provide support. Presale access began 24 June, and the general sale is set for 26 June at 11 a.m. Eastern. Progressive metal outfit Between the Buried and Me also confirmed a fall 2025 co-headlining trek with Hail the Sun. Full routing and ticket information have yet to be released, but the bands said additional details are forthcoming.
