Miami Dolphins edge rusher Chop Robinson was taken from the field on a cart after going down during an 11-on-11 period of Wednesday’s joint practice with the Detroit Lions in Allen Park, Michigan. The second-year defender, selected 21st overall in the 2024 draft, had been praised by coaches for a strong training camp and is projected to form part of Miami’s primary pass-rush trio alongside Bradley Chubb and Jaelan Phillips. Robinson posted on social media roughly an hour after practice that the injury was "nothing serious," and team personnel did not indicate an immediate cause for concern. Head coach Mike McDaniel is expected to provide a formal update before Thursday’s follow-up session with Detroit.
