Nigerian Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known as K1 De Ultimate and a loyalist of President Tinubu, has been blacklisted by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) for six months following an incident at Abuja Airport where he allegedly breached airport security and blocked a plane from taking off. The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) launched an investigation into the incident, which led to calls for severe legal consequences, including life imprisonment, from some legal representatives who accused him of endangering aircraft and passengers. Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo confirmed the blacklisting and warned that airlines violating the ban would face sanctions. Wasiu Ayinde has since apologized for his actions, describing them as "unfortunate," while denying allegations of being under the influence of alcohol during the incident. The NCAA has petitioned the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, and the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, to prosecute the singer for his unruly behavior.
