Club América has officially announced the signing of Colombian forward José Raúl 'Pantera' Zúñiga from Club Tijuana (Xolos) ahead of the Apertura 2025 tournament. Zúñiga, who was the top scorer in the Clausura 2025, joins América as a reinforcement under coach André Jardine. He arrives to fill the gap left by Henry Martín, who is sidelined due to injury.
