Google has introduced a “Storybook” feature to its Gemini generative-AI app, allowing users to create personalized, illustrated storybooks complete with read-aloud narration at no cost. The tool, which is available worldwide on mobile and desktop, generates a 10-page book of text, custom artwork and audio in response to a brief prompt. Users can have Gemini draw on uploaded photos, files or drawings for additional customization and choose art styles ranging from pixel and comics to claymation. Finished books can be shared via link or downloaded for printing. Google says Storybook works in more than 45 languages, positioning the service for broad family and educational use.
