On August 2, 2025, SpaceX's Crew-11 mission successfully docked with the International Space Station (ISS) at 3:46 a.m. ET, marking the arrival of four astronauts—two Americans, one Russian, and one Japanese. The Crew-11 team, including Mike Fincke, Kimiya Yui, and Oleg Platonov, joined the Expedition 73 crew aboard the orbital laboratory. The docking occurred approximately 15 hours after the launch from Kennedy Space Center in Florida. A formal welcome ceremony followed their entry, signaling the start of their roughly six-month mission aboard the ISS, during which they will conduct scientific research. Meanwhile, preparations are underway for the departure of the Crew-10 astronauts, who have spent over 140 days on the station and are scheduled to undock on August 7, with splashdown off the coast of California expected on August 8. Concurrently, SpaceX is advancing its Starship Flight 10 test, targeting a mid-August launch. The flight will utilize Booster 16 and Ship 37; however, Ship 37 requires additional static fire testing following an engine swap. The launch pad has been modified to accommodate these tests, with Booster 16 currently stored in the Rocket Garden. The timeline for Starship Flight 10 remains subject to change based on the completion of required tests.
