HBO Max’s limited series “The Penguin” followed with 24 nominations, while Apple TV+ comedy “The Studio” and HBO’s “The White Lotus” secured 23 each. “The Studio” ties the record for the most nominations by a comedy in a single year, matching the mark set by “The Bear” in 2024. In the network standings, HBO and HBO Max amassed a record 142 nominations, ahead of Disney’s combined 128, Netflix’s 121 and Apple TV+’s 79, underscoring the continued dominance of premium and streaming platforms in the television awards race. Winners will be announced at a live ceremony on Sept. 14, 2025, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The broadcast airs on CBS and streams on Paramount+, with comedian Nate Bargatze slated to host.
