FX has ordered a six-episode limited series titled “Cry Wolf,” adding Brie Larson to star opposite the previously attached Olivia Colman. Both Academy Award winners will also serve as executive producers on the psychological family thriller. Created and run by Sarah Treem, the drama follows a social worker (Colman) and a mother (Larson) whose lives are upended when the mother’s teenage daughter alleges abuse. The project is adapted from the Danish series “Ulven Kommer” by Maja Jul Larsen and will be produced by FX Productions, with additional executive producers including Treem, Colman’s South of the River partner Ed Sinclair, and Melissa Bernstein of Special Interests.
