Hulu has secured series-development rights to "Best Offer Wins," the forthcoming debut novel by former Washington Post journalist Marisa Kashino, after a competitive bidding process. The project will be produced by 20th Television, with Entertainment 360’s Chelsea McKinnies and Mackenzie Roussos also on board as executive producers. Actor Greta Lee is attached to executive produce and is expected to star, although her acting deal is still being finalised. Screenwriter Suzanne Heathcote, known for her work on “Killing Eve,” will adapt the novel for television and serve as an executive producer alongside Kashino. Due for publication on 25 November 2025, Kashino’s book follows 37-year-old publicist Margo Miyake, who becomes consumed with acquiring an off-market home after a string of failed bids—an exploration of class, ambition and the modern housing crisis that the series aims to translate to the screen.
