Amazon’s Prime Video has ordered a fifth season of the adult-animated superhero series “Invincible,” extending the show months before Season 4 is due to premiere in 2026. The early renewal continues the platform’s pattern of re-upping the Robert Kirkman–created comic adaptation well ahead of upcoming releases. Prime Video also confirmed that Emmy-winning actor Matthew Rhys, known for “The Americans” and “Perry Mason,” will join the voice cast in Season 4, for which recording has already been completed. The announcement follows a strong performance for Season 3, whose March 2025 finale delivered the service’s most-watched season of animated television, according to Prime Video. Lead voice actor Steven Yeun this week secured his first Emmy nomination for the series. “Invincible” is produced by Skybound Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios.
