On July 2, 2025, Ukrainian forces conducted strikes on Russian ammunition depots in two locations in Ukraine. In the temporarily Russian-occupied city of Khartsyzsk in the Donetsk region, Ukrainian drones and missiles targeted a large Russian ammunition depot, triggering massive explosions, secondary detonations, powerful shock waves, and large fires. The attack caused extensive damage to the depot, with multiple videos capturing the moment of detonation. Meanwhile, near the city of Zhytomyr in northwestern Ukraine, a massive explosion occurred at a warehouse of an industrial facility in Berezanka. Preliminary reports indicate that the blast destroyed two industrial enterprises, resulted in at least two fatalities, and injured 15 people. The incidents reflect ongoing military activity and heightened tensions in eastern and northern Ukraine.
Major explosion in Odesa. I can see a plume of smoke off in the distance. So far, but so large. Something has been destroyed.
