Zelensky stated that the meeting will focus on "all the details of ending the killing and the war" and underscored the need for continued coordination with European partners on security guarantees for Kyiv. He also endorsed Trump’s proposal for a trilateral summit involving the United States, Ukraine and Russia, arguing that negotiations at the level of national leaders are "highly appropriate" for addressing core issues of the conflict.
