Epic Adds Mighty Morphin Power Rangers to Fortnite for Aug 7 Season Launch

Epic Games has unveiled a live-action trailer confirming that the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers will headline Fortnite’s forthcoming Chapter 6 Season 4, titled “Shock ’N Awesome.” Released on 5 August, the 1990s-style clip marks the franchise’s first new live-action material since 2023 and shows the Red, Yellow and Blue Rangers fighting an alien-bug invasion alongside Fortnite characters. The new season begins on 7 August across all platforms. Epic said the Green Ranger, Tommy Oliver, will be the final unlock on the linear battle pass, while a bundle containing the Red, Black, Yellow, Pink and Blue Rangers—plus accessories and a remix of the original theme song—will arrive in the in-game store later in August. Additional content teased in the trailer includes three weapons—the Swarmstrike multi-rocket launcher, a laser pistol and a heavy minigun—along with a Dino Megazord skin that can be earned through quests starting 16 September. Epic indicated that players will be able to control the Megazord during a mid-season event, mirroring past large-scale crossover mechanics.
