Nintendo outlined its third-party software pipeline for the Switch 2 in a Partner Showcase streamed on 31 July, unveiling more than a dozen titles scheduled to reach the new hardware before year-end and early 2026. Atlus confirmed that Persona 3 Reload will arrive on 23 October, while Ubisoft dated Star Wars Outlaws for 4 September. Bandai Namco announced two major revivals: Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac on 26 September and Once Upon a Katamari on 24 October. Electronic Arts will release Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted, an HD remaster with local co-op, on 23 October. Square Enix dominated the presentation with multiple RPGs. Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles lands on 30 September and, like several of the publisher’s catalogue titles, offers a free Switch 2 upgrade for current owners. Octopath Traveler 0 debuts 4 December, while Dragon Quest I & II is slated for 30 October; a performance patch for Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake rolled out immediately after the stream. Additional releases include Bloober Team’s sci-fi horror Cronos: The New Dawn on 5 September, Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero on 13 November, and Sega’s Yakuza Kiwami and Kiwami 2—both arriving 13 November with discounted upgrade paths for existing Switch owners. Nintendo said the lineup is designed to expand the Switch 2 library ahead of the holiday season and into 2026, when a new Monster Hunter title is expected.
