Nintendo said it will broadcast a Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase on 31 July at 6 a.m. Pacific / 9 a.m. Eastern. The pre-recorded presentation, which will run for roughly 25 minutes, will stream on the company’s YouTube and Twitch channels and feature forthcoming titles for both Nintendo Switch 2 and the original Switch from third-party publishers. Because the event is dedicated to partner studios, updates on Nintendo-developed games such as Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and Kirby Air Riders are unlikely. Confirmed third-party projects already heading to Switch 2 include FromSoftware’s The Duskbloods and Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, Ubisoft’s Star Wars Outlaws and Supergiant’s Hades II, with additional announcements expected during the broadcast. The showcase will be Nintendo’s first Direct since Switch 2 launched in early June, underscoring the company’s push to bolster third-party support for the new hardware while continuing to serve the more than 150 million owners of the original Switch.
