Oman’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on 17 July denouncing what it described as Israeli attacks against Syrian territory and national sovereignty, calling the strikes a “blatant violation” of international law. Muscat urged the United Nations and wider international community to assume their responsibilities and press for a complete Israeli withdrawal from Syria. Algeria’s foreign ministry delivered a similar message a day earlier, condemning the Israeli “aggression” and expressing full solidarity with Damascus. Algiers said Syria has the right to safeguard its security and stability under the UN Charter and international law.
