The attacks have intensified amid Israel's efforts to pressure Damascus to protect the Druze minority following recent clashes. Guterres called for an immediate cessation of violations against Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity, urging respect for the 1974 Disengagement of Forces Agreement. The UN chief's spokesman, Stephane Dujarric, reiterated the condemnation of violence against civilians. Additionally, Iran's Foreign Minister has also denounced the Israeli attacks on Syria.
