Apple on 11 August released the sixth developer beta of all four of its upcoming operating systems: iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe 26 and visionOS 26. The updates are available to registered developers through the standard software-update mechanisms. The macOS Tahoe build continues Appleās Liquid Glass user-interface overhaul and adds the Phone and Journal apps to the Mac, a cross-platform Games app and a more capable Spotlight that can trigger actions such as sending emails without opening a dedicated application. For the Vision Pro headset, visionOS 26 beta 6 (build 23M5322b) refines spatial widgets, an upgraded Personas feature and support for 180- and 360-degree video capture as well as PSVR 2 controllers. iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 betas incorporate the same underlying frameworks and are expected to reach the public alongside the other platforms in the autumn release cycle.
