A 22-year-old man was struck and killed in a hit-and-run while crossing South Kedzie Avenue in Chicago’s Gage Park neighborhood at about 3:20 a.m. Saturday, according to the Chicago Police Department. Investigators said a northbound gray vehicle ignored a traffic signal in the 5400 block of South Kedzie, hit the pedestrian in the crosswalk and fled the scene. The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. No arrests have been made.
