ASUS and Microsoft’s first jointly branded Xbox handhelds—the ROG Xbox Ally and the higher-spec ROG Xbox Ally X—are now expected to reach stores on 16 October 2025, according to retail information obtained by Dealabs and corroborated across several specialist publications. The date covers the European launch, with global availability likely to follow closely. The same leak pegs the standard Ally at €599 and the Ally X at €899. Pre-orders are slated to open on 20 August during Gamescom in Cologne, where Microsoft has already planned hands-on demos of the Windows-11-based devices. An official confirmation is anticipated at the company’s showcase on the first day of the fair.
