Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Power Minister Ashish Sood have inaugurated a pilot project to install an underground electricity cable network aimed at enhancing infrastructure safety and tidiness in the city. The initiative is part of a broader vision to eliminate overhead wires, making Delhi wire-free. During the event, Sood highlighted that the government is facilitating the Kanwar Yatra by providing free electricity to related camps. Gupta emphasized the project as a step toward protecting residents and improving the city's infrastructure. Additionally, Gupta inaugurated the Indian Houseware Exhibition at Pragati Maidan, describing it as a testament to the capacity, skill, and self-reliance of Indian industry. She also held a high-level meeting with representatives of the Ramleela Sangh at the Delhi Secretariat to discuss arrangements for upcoming Ramleela events, with Cabinet Minister Ashish Sood and Kapil Mishra in attendance.
