A three-day training camp for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Members of Parliament (MPs) and Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) commenced on July 7, 2025, in Mainpat, Surguja district, Chhattisgarh. The event was inaugurated by BJP National President JP Nadda and attended by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, and other senior party leaders including MP Brijmohan Agrawal. The training program aims to strengthen organizational capabilities, enhance public outreach, and cover various topics through expert-led sessions. JP Nadda also planted a sapling under the initiative 'Ek Ped Maa ke Naam' during the event. The camp is expected to conclude with a closing ceremony presided over by senior party leadership. Concurrently, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge arrived in Raipur to participate in the party's 'Jai Kisan, Jai Jawan, Jai Samvidhan' rally and other meetings, including the Political Affairs Committee session at Rajiv Bhawan. Kharge addressed a public gathering emphasizing the protection of the constitution and criticizing BJP-RSS ideologies.
