Indonesian police have arrested four individuals in connection with the kidnapping and murder of Mohamad Ilham Pradipta (37), the Head of a Branch Office (KCP) of a state-owned bank (Bank BUMN). The incident began with the abduction of Pradipta from the parking area of Lotte Mart in Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta. The victim was found deceased in Bekasi with his hands tied and face taped. An autopsy conducted by the Police Hospital (RS Polri) in Kramat Jati revealed injuries to the neck and chest as the cause of death. The four suspects, identified as AT, RS, RW, and RAH, work as debt collectors. Prior to their arrest on August 21, 2025, one of the suspects transferred IDR 8 million to his wife. Police continue to investigate the intellectual mastermind behind the crime, and the motive remains unclear.
