KCB, DCI Reach Kenya Cup Semis as Rwanda Dominates Kenya in Para Volleyball

Kenyan club sides booked early passage to the last four of the Kenya Cup Volleyball Championships after KCB swept Postbank 3–0, while Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) overturned an opening-set deficit to defeat Kenya Defence Forces 3–1. Kenya Prisons also advanced, confirming a semi-final line-up set for 12–13 July. Results were less encouraging for the national sitting-volleyball teams at the Africa Para Volley Championship in Nairobi. Rwanda overpowered Kenya’s women 25-13, 25-16, 25-18 to take a 2–0 lead in their best-of-five series, leaving the defending continental champions one win from a fourth straight title. In the men’s draw, Kenya fell 3–2 to Algeria on the opening day but will face Rwanda on Sunday needing a victory to keep World Championship qualification hopes alive.
