Kenya Police Football Club secured their first-ever Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League title in the 2024-2025 season after a 1-0 victory over Shabana FC at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos County. This win ended the long-standing dominance of Gor Mahia, who finished second with 58 points, six points behind the champions. Kenya Police FC's rise has been notable, having been promoted from the National Super League (NSL) in 2021 and overcoming previous relegation challenges. The club celebrated their coronation at the Ulinzi Sports Complex following a 1-1 draw with Gor Mahia in the final match of the season. This achievement marks the end of an 11-year wait for the club to claim the top league title. Kenya Police FC will now represent Kenya in the CAF Champions League. The club's success extends beyond football, with recognition for contributions to volleyball and athletics. Officials and public figures have congratulated the team for breaking the traditional two-club dominance in Kenyan football and for their discipline and determination. Kenya Police FC expressed readiness to compete at the continental level, aiming to challenge established African clubs.
