Additionally, Sheinbaum held a separate meeting with Lorenzo Simonelli, president and CEO of the US-based energy company Baker Hughes, to strengthen collaboration on strategic projects in Mexico. The meeting with Baker Hughes drew attention due to the company's connection to the controversial "Casa Gris" case involving the president's son. The Mexico City government continues to work closely with Sheinbaum's administration on various initiatives, including community art projects supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies.
