Israeli military operations intensified across Gaza and the occupied West Bank between August 25 and 27, 2025. In Gaza, a series of airstrikes, drone attacks, and artillery shelling targeted residential neighborhoods including Al-Shorbaji family home in Mawasi, Al-Saftawi area, Al-Basateen Street in Al-Zaytoun, Al-Mawasi, Al-Lababidi Street, Al-Tuffah, Al-Shuja’iya, Al-Qadsia camp, and Khan Younis. These attacks resulted in at least 34 fatalities, including women and children, and numerous injuries. Several Palestinian homes, displacement tents, schools, and markets were struck, causing extensive destruction and fires. Israeli forces advanced into Gaza City with tanks and explosive-laden drones, forcing many families to flee. In the occupied West Bank, Israeli occupation forces stormed multiple cities including Balata refugee camp east of Nablus, downtown Ramallah, Saair in Hebron, and Nablus city. During raids, three Palestinians were detained in Balata camp, and several others were abducted in Nablus and Ramallah. Israeli forces also fired stun grenades and opened fire on civilians, injuring at least 58 people in Ramallah and Al-Manara Square, including women, children, and elderly. Additionally, Israeli troops raided currency exchange shops in Ramallah, reportedly seizing nearly one million shekels (approximately $270,000). The Israeli military justified the raids by claiming they targeted "terrorist funds." The operations included physical assaults on Palestinian journalists and civilians. The ongoing military actions have led to international protests and widespread displacement within Gaza.
