Israeli warplanes conducted separate strikes on two refugee camps in central Gaza on 4 July, demolishing homes belonging to the Abd al-Jawad family in Al-Bureij camp and the Abu al-Qumsan family near the Ihsan Mosque in Al-Nuseirat camp. Local reports said at least two Palestinians were killed and several others wounded in the Nuseirat strike, while rescue teams searched the rubble of both sites for additional victims. Footage from the scene showed extensive structural damage and residents inspecting debris. The Israeli military did not immediately comment on the incidents. The strikes add to a series of escalations in the enclave, where civilian structures have repeatedly been hit during intermittent hostilities.
