Former Israeli defense minister Yoav Gallant has published an unusually direct letter to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, warning that Israel is monitoring Tehran’s activities closely and will act again if Iran attempts to rebuild a clandestine nuclear or missile program. “We see everything. We hear everything. We are everywhere,” Gallant wrote, telling Khamenei that Israel often knows “more about you than you know about yourselves.” Gallant said last month’s 12-day Israel-US campaign against Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, air-defense batteries and proxy forces shattered what Tehran had spent four decades constructing. He claimed the strikes set Iran’s atomic programme back by years, neutralised large parts of Hezbollah and Hamas command structures and exposed weaknesses in Iran’s regional network. The former minister framed Khamenei’s choices as stark: abandon confrontation with Israel and focus on improving Iranians’ welfare, or face further Israeli attacks should Tehran accelerate its nuclear or missile work. Gallant argued that modern surveillance technology makes it impossible for Iran to conceal renewed weapons activity and that Israel could now dismantle any rebuilt proxy arsenal within months.
