Turkish Airlines said it will restart commercial flights to Iran on Monday, 30 June, ending a more than two-week suspension imposed after Tehran closed its airspace on 13 June because of a 12-day Israeli offensive. Chief Executive Bilal Ekşi announced that services, including the route to the northeastern city of Mashhad, will operate under enhanced security protocols agreed with Iranian authorities. The carrier had halted all Iran-bound operations citing safety concerns.
