Disney’s 20th Century Studios has expanded the cast of its upcoming sequel "The Devil Wears Prada 2," adding Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak and Pauline Chalamet to the ensemble. They will appear alongside original stars Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci, with Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman also set to reprise their roles. David Frankel returns to direct and Aline Brosh McKenna to write the follow-up to the 2006 hit, which grossed $326 million worldwide and earned Streep an Oscar nomination. Plot details remain under wraps, but the story is expected to revisit Miranda Priestly as she confronts the decline of print magazines and clashes with Blunt’s now-powerful fashion-industry executive. Production is under way, and the studio has scheduled a theatrical release for May 1, 2026.
