Searchlight Pictures is partnering with Imax Corp. to give Darren Aronofsky’s 2010 psychological thriller “Black Swan” its first release in the premium large-format, marking the film’s 15th anniversary. The remastered version will screen on 21 and 24 August in more than 200 Imax theatres across the United States and Canada. The ballet-themed drama, which earned Natalie Portman the Academy Award for Best Actress and secured five Oscar nominations including Best Picture, took in roughly $329 million worldwide on its original run. Searchlight has issued a new trailer and poster for the anniversary engagement and said additional celebratory events will be announced later in the year.
