The Netherlands has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine valued at approximately €175 million ($202 million). The package includes the supply of 100 drone detection radar systems, 20 medical evacuation vehicles, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). A key component of the aid involves a contract signed with Ukrainian companies for the production of 600,000 drones to be supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans confirmed the details, emphasizing the inclusion of radar systems and unmanned vehicles in the package. This announcement coincides with ongoing NATO meetings focused on support for Ukraine. The Dutch government is allocating around €80 million specifically for the purchase of additional drones, while the broader €500 million deal covers drone production. The aid aims to enhance Ukraine's air defense and medical evacuation capabilities amid continued conflict.
