Great opportunity for @LavarScott to show what he's got at the @NASCAR_Xfinity level later this season. He's done everything right on and off track on his way up so far. https://t.co/iU3UB1FIXV
.@TeamAlphaPrime just announced they’ve signed @LavarScott to a two-race deal. He’ll make his Xfinity Series debut at Dover and then run St. Louis in September with sponsorship from Foxxtecca. Scott finished second in ARCA last season and is third in points this year.
Alpha Prime Racing said on 1 July that ARCA Menards Series driver Lavar Scott will step up to NASCAR’s Xfinity Series for two events, making his debut at Dover Motor Speedway on 19 July before returning for a second start at World Wide Technology Raceway near St. Louis on 6 September. Scott, 21, will pilot Alpha Prime’s No. 45 Chevrolet with backing from events company Foxxtecca. The New Jersey native finished runner-up in the 2024 ARCA championship and sits third in the 2025 standings, 17 points adrift of the lead, after posting 21 top-five finishes in 35 career starts. Alpha Prime has rotated several drivers through the No. 45 entry this season, with its best result a 13th-place finish at Daytona. Scott’s Dover appearance will be his first start in any of NASCAR’s three national touring divisions.
