Samsung is preparing to launch a tri-fold smartphone, revealed through animations and design files found in the latest One UI 8 update. The device, rumored to be called the Galaxy G Fold or Multifold 7, features a unique triple-panel design with two inward-folding hinges, differentiating it from other foldable phones like the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate, which folds outward. This tri-fold phone design was unintentionally leaked by Samsung ahead of its official Unpacked event. The One UI 8 build not only showcases the phone's form factor but also hints at new features such as a "Dynamic Effect" functionality. The Galaxy G Fold's design resembles a concept phone previously seen at Mobile World Congress (MWC), indicating Samsung's continued innovation in foldable smartphone technology. Alongside this, Samsung is also advancing its One UI 8 update toward a stable release and has recently rolled out a major update for Tizen OS, which affects some older Samsung televisions.
