The Superior Court of Justice of Madrid (TSJM) has annulled the fines imposed by Judge Peinado on the lawyer of Begoña Gómez and other lawyers involved in the case. Judge Peinado had initially fined Antonio Camacho, Gómez's lawyer, 5,000 euros and issued 500-euro fines to lawyers representing two popular accusations for giving statements to the press. The TSJM ruled that although these actions may be considered "reproachable," they do not constitute sufficient grounds for sanctions. The court also clarified that the lawyers did not engage in an improper disclosure of case information. Separately, the Supreme Court has indicated it will conduct a proper review of an email from Santos Cerdán but has told the PSOE party that it cannot make any requests regarding this matter. Additionally, there have been reports concerning Judge Peinado's irregular chalet in La Adrada, which was reportedly built without proper authorization.
