Retro-hardware maker Analogue has delayed shipments of its Analogue 3D console to late August 2025, pushing back the launch by roughly one month from the most recent July timetable. The company attributed the slip to "last week’s sudden tariff changes" on consumer electronics imported into the United States. Analogue said it will absorb the extra costs, pledging that the $249.99 preorder price will remain unchanged and that customers need take no additional action. Analogue 3D is designed to run original Nintendo 64 cartridges on modern displays, using field-programmable gate array technology to output games at up to 4K resolution and emulate vintage CRT effects. Preorders opened in October 2024 with an initial goal of shipping in the first quarter of 2025, but the project has faced successive delays amid a tariff environment that has also disrupted release plans for other gaming-hardware manufacturers.
