Amazon Prime Video has released the first teaser for “The Terminal List: Dark Wolf,” a seven-episode prequel to its 2022 military thriller. The footage, unveiled 1 July, centres on Ben Edwards, played by Taylor Kitsch, and charts his transition from Navy SEAL to CIA paramilitary operative, exploring the moral toll of covert warfare. Kitsch leads the cast alongside Chris Pratt, who returns in a supporting role as James Reece. The ensemble also features Tom Hopper, Robert Wisdom, Luke Hemsworth, Dar Salim, Rona-Lee Shimon, Shiraz Tzarfati and Jared Shaw. Co-created by series author Jack Carr and showrunner David DiGilio, the project is executive-produced by Kitsch, Pratt, Carr, DiGilio and filmmaker Antoine Fuqua, among others. Prime Video will debut the first three episodes on 27 August 2025, with subsequent instalments streaming weekly through 24 September. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios in partnership with MRC/Civic Center Media and serves as a lead-in to the second season of the main “Terminal List” franchise, now in production.
