Eva Pilgrim has been named the new anchor of the syndicated newsmagazine "Inside Edition," succeeding Deborah Norville who retired after a 30-year tenure. Pilgrim, formerly a correspondent and anchor for ABC News' "GMA3," will leave the ABC program to take on her new role. Her departure is part of a broader overhaul at ABC News, which also includes the exit of "GMA3" co-anchor DeMarco Morgan. ABC is preparing a revamp of the "GMA3" lineup following these changes. Norville stepped down from "Inside Edition" in the spring of 2025 after three decades as the show's anchor.
