Hulu has released the first full trailer for its long-anticipated revival of “King of the Hill,” confirming that the animated comedy will return with a 10-episode 14th season on 4 August 2025. The new footage shows Hank, Peggy and Bobby Hill grappling with modern-day Texas life, from ride-share apps to gender-neutral bathrooms, after years abroad in Saudi Arabia. Original creators Mike Judge and Greg Daniels are back as executive producers, with Saladin Patterson serving as showrunner. Core cast members Judge (Hank), Kathy Najimy (Peggy) and Pamela Adlon (Bobby) reprise their roles. Ronny Chieng joins the ensemble as Kahn Souphanousinphone, taking over from Toby Huss, who shifts to voice Dale Gribble following the 2023 death of longtime performer Johnny Hardwick. Huss continues to portray Kahn’s father-in-law, Cotton. The revival marks the first new season since the series ended its 13-season network run in 2010. Hulu is positioning the show alongside its other 1990s animated acquisition, “Futurama,” as part of an effort to expand adult animation on both Hulu and the combined Hulu-on-Disney+ platform.
