The Television Academy on Tuesday released the nominees for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie at the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards, highlighting five performers whose recent work has drawn critical attention. The field comprises Colin Farrell, Stephen Graham, Jake Gyllenhaal, Brian Tyree Henry and Cooper Koch. Henry earned the nod for his role in “Dope Thief,” marking his third career Emmy nomination. Nominations across all categories were unveiled from the academy’s North Hollywood headquarters, kicking off the final voting period that runs August 18–27.
