Wizards of the Coast has opened preorders for its next Universes Beyond crossover, bringing Nickelodeon’s “Avatar: The Last Airbender” into Magic: The Gathering ahead of a 21 Nov. release. The set is available through Amazon and other major retailers and follows this year’s Final Fantasy and upcoming Spider-Man collaborations as the company expands its licensed content strategy. The product line mirrors recent crossovers, ranging from entry-level kits to premium boosters. A Play Booster Box containing 30 packs lists for $209.70, while a Beginner Box aimed at new players sells for $35. A nine-pack Bundle is priced at $70, and a Commander’s Bundle—substituting for traditional Commander decks—costs $110. Jumpstart Booster Boxes are also on offer at $167.76. Wizards, a Hasbro unit, has leaned on marquee pop-culture franchises to sustain sales momentum in the $100-plus-million trading-card market. The company has not disclosed print-run figures, but prior crossovers have sold out in pre-release windows, suggesting demand could again outpace supply.
