West Midlands Police have launched a manhunt after a woman was shot inside a house on Priory Road in Dudley shortly after midnight on 3 July. Investigators say two shots were fired through a window, with one round striking the victim, who was taken to hospital with serious injuries and remains in stable condition. Officers were called at 12:16 a.m. and quickly sealed off the residential street. Forensic teams are examining the scene, and Priory Road remains closed while detectives canvass the area and review dash-cam and doorbell footage. Police appealed for witnesses or anyone with relevant video to call 101 quoting log 66 of 3 July. The force said additional patrols will remain in the neighbourhood to reassure residents as the search for the gunman continues.
