Peel Regional Police have arrested 13 individuals, including five youths, in connection with an organized crime network responsible for more than 15 violent home invasions and high-end vehicle thefts across the Greater Toronto Area. The group, dismantled under an operation named Project Ghost, faced nearly 200 combined charges related to stabbings, break-ins, and thefts of luxury cars and jewelry, with losses estimated at $1.8 million. The network primarily used youths to scout targets and carry out the crimes, which had caused significant community distress. Separately, federal agents conducted raids in Philadelphia targeting the Wheels of Soul Motorcycle Club, linked to a shooting outside a Virginia sports bar in April 2025. Multiple search warrants have been executed in Woodbridge in connection with the assault affiliated with the gang, and investigations continue into theft of transport trucks in Peel Region with three arrests made.
