Delhi Police have launched an investigation after several rounds of gunfire were reported near the Azadpur bus terminal in the capital’s Adarsh Nagar area early Tuesday. A minor from the nearby Azadpur Municipal Colony sustained gunshot injuries and was transferred to the city’s trauma centre for treatment, officials said. Adarsh Nagar Police Station registered a case of attempted murder and deployed crime-scene and forensic teams to the site. Officers are collecting ballistic evidence and reviewing surveillance footage to identify the shooters. No arrests had been announced as of early afternoon.
