Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan addressed the fourth convocation ceremony of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University in Pusa, Samastipur, Bihar, urging agricultural universities and research institutions to contribute to increasing agricultural productivity under the Prime Minister's Kisan Dhan Dhanay Yojana. During the event, Chouhan also inaugurated the newly constructed Vikramshila Hostel and International Guest House at the university. The convocation highlighted the role of graduates in advancing agricultural development. Meanwhile, preparations are underway for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Bihar on July 18, marking his 52nd visit to the state. Modi is scheduled to visit Motihari, where an event expecting around 500,000 attendees is planned for 10 a.m. Local officials have arranged extensive logistics, including parking and public access. BJP leaders noted Modi's previous visits brought substantial benefits to Bihar, emphasizing his ongoing commitment to the state's progress. In Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Health Minister Shyambihari Jaiswal flagged the deployment of 151 new vehicles to the health department to enhance fieldwork, aligning with Modi's vision for a developed India by 2047. The state government continues to implement development initiatives consistent with the Prime Minister's roadmap.
