The anime film "Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc," produced by Studio MAPPA, is scheduled to premiere in Japan on September 19, 2025, followed by its U.S. theatrical release on October 29, 2025. The film continues the story of Denji from the popular "Chainsaw Man" series and will be released exclusively in movie theaters. A new trailer for the film was unveiled at Anime Expo 2025, featuring the theme song "IRIS OUT" performed by Kenshi Yonezu, who previously gained international acclaim for his song "Kickback." The production has also announced additional voice cast members, including Hidenori Takahashi as Vice-Captain, Kenji Akabane as Nomo, Kenji Nomura as a mysterious man, and Eri Kitamura as the Typhoon Devil. The main cast includes Shiori Izawa voicing Pochita and Tomori Kusunoki as Makima. Pre-sale tickets for the film began on July 18, 2025. The movie's global rollout commences with the Japanese release, followed by the U.S. and other international markets.
