Turkey's Minister of National Defense, Yaşar Güler, met with Libya's Acting Defense Minister, Brigadier General Abdusselam Zubi, in Ankara. The meeting included Turkey's Deputy Defense Minister Musa Heybet. During the visit, the two countries signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) focused on defense and security cooperation aimed at enhancing the capabilities and efficiency of the Libyan army. This agreement is part of Libya's Ministry of Defense plan to develop its military forces. The signing took place amid efforts to strengthen military collaboration between Turkey and Libya. Separately, a delegation from Libya's General Command, led by Al-Tamimi, visited Jordan to further military cooperation.
