Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian told his French counterpart in a telephone call that the International Atomic Energy Agency is applying “double standards” that have created “many problems for regional and global security,” according to an Iranian government readout. Pezeshkian questioned why Israel, which is not a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, should be a reference point for the IAEA’s reports on Iran, the statement said.
